

Crazy Escape from the Southerly Swell
After a progressively rolly night at Moreton Island, we upped anchor and moved further south along the Island in the hope of some protection from a horrid southerly swell. But there was no shelter to be found, so we bit the bullet and decided to make a run for King Island once again. More Tangalooma
Motored back to Moreton Island as there was absolutely no breeze. The sandflies were on the rampage, so we anchored as fast as humanly possible and screened up the boat until the sun went down. Forecast westerly winds saw us depart beautiful Moreton Island and head back to our usual anchorage behind King Island, just off Wellington Point.
