The Great Escape!

Finished or not, we are leaving the creek! 1000 departure from the jetty (with Tony onboard this time). Motored up Tingalpa Creek as far as we could go and waited for enough tide to cross over the rock shelf, but still allow enough clearance to get under the road bridge ahead - some serious calculations required. Made it under at 1155 (without canopy or targa bar) with Tony only having to duck slightly! Then we headed under the railway bridge in time for a train to go roaring overhead. After negotiating more rocks and assorted moored "boats", we pushed our luck as far as we could to finally run aground on the sandbar just before the channel markers. An excellent time to stop for lunch and a spot of fishing!
