Gladstone Harbour Festival

We have been having a lovely time this past week, enjoying all that the festival has to offer. Better still, Tony returned home - to fireworks!! As soon as we heard that first pop, all rushed to the foredeck to find a comfy spot in the nets to watch the brilliant fireworks. By day, we strolled through the markets or watched the parade and by night, we were captivated by the sights and sounds of a carnival in full swing. Many a stomach-churning ride was conquered (admittedly, mainly by Sarah)!! We also enjoyed night after night of open air concerts, from the Battle of the Bands, to the Beetles and Abba.
